Care Instructions

Congratulations on your purchase of Clear Pro Paint Protection Film. This film is made up of a material topped with a clear coat layer to exhibit a paint-like gloss. It requires special care and maintenance to retain its glossy finish, overall look and performance. The following items must be considered when cleaning and maintaining your Clear Pro Paint Protection Film.

Care and Maintenance

You may see a few water bubbles under the film. This is normal and will go away once the film has cured (up to 30 days).

Use a liquid-based car wash soap, extra-soft wash mitt, and water to wash your Clear Pro Paint Protection Film.

When using a high-pressure water hose to wash, keep at least 36" away from your film's edge and surface.

Apply a regular coat of Xpel paint Protection Film Sealant

Xpel Sealant is specifically designed to maintain your paint protection film

Xpel Sealant can be purchased directly from Clear Pro

Xpel Sealant can be puchsec from Clear Pro

We recommend the use of the following:

Use a detail brush or micro-fiber cloth softly to remove any wax buildup around the edges.

Bird droppings and bug splats should be removed as quickly as possible by flushing the area with lukewarm water. Some bugs may leave stains that normally bleach out in the sun after a few weeks.

Do Not Do the Following:

Do not use any abrasive scrubbers, sponges, or paper towels.

Do not use any solvents or paint thinners to clean film

Do not use a powder-based detergent or de greaser to clean your film.

Do not use any clay products to clean the surface of your film.

Do not use any abrasive or hard-compound waxes and/or polishes.

Do not rub excessively or use excessive force when cleaning or drying.

Do not use a high-speed power buffer or polishing equipment.

Do not use a high-pressure hose closer than 36" from the Paint Protection Film

Do not pick at the Paint Protection Film's edges. Once the material is lifted, it will not lay back down properly without damage.
